Taste the Difference is a coat drive to collect outerwear for women\, men and children every holiday season.\n\n\n\nTaste the Difference will be held on December 5\, 2015 at Hotel Indigo and Plaza. At Taste the Difference\, guests will enjoy holiday cocktails and cuisine while supporting those who might not be as fortunate this winter. Outside\, 400+ guests will enter into an elegant cocktail area lined with some of Pittsburgh's best restaurant representatives. Each restaurant will be sharing decadent samples of their best Comfort-Foods. Guests will arrive in elegant white and black attire draped by the warmth of their own coats. For each guest in attendance\, a gently-used or new coat will be donated to a Pittsburgh child and their family who are without. Proceeds benefit the East End Cooperative Ministry. At this event\, we will also be raising money to donate to the EECM Food Pantry. \n\n\n\nThrough their food pantry\, EECM provides healthy\, fresh\, critical groceries to 735 families each year. Because of the pantry\, families do not have to make the decision between utilities\, rent\, clothes for their children\, or food. Through the Food Pantry 320 children are served annually.\n\n\n\nAt A Taste of Pittsburgh Magazine\, we believe in giving back to the community. There is no better time than the holiday season.
