Workforce Development Case Manager

We are searching for an experienced human services candidate for our Workforce Development Case Manager opening. Utilizing a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, you will deliver case management services to assist an array of at-risk individuals achieve and maintain economic stability. You will identify and eliminate barriers for program participants by:

  • Working collaboratively with clients one-on-one,
  • Drafting individualized client-centered service plans,
  • Coordinating and integrating supportive services,
  • Managing crisis situations as they arise utilizing agency services, and
  • Documenting, monitoring, and reporting client progress using software systems.

We (Westmoreland Community Action) are a non-profit organization that works to connect individuals and families to opportunities and resources throughout the community to improve their quality of life and help to reduce poverty in the community. This is accomplished through housing, counseling, support, education, intervention, collaborations, partnerships, information, referrals, and networking.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Some college or university education preferred.
  • Previous human services experience.
  • Must possess a valid PA driver’s license and $15,000/$30,000 bodily liability auto insurance.
  • Must be able to provide or successfully obtain child abuse, state police, fingerprint-based criminal background, and sex offender registry clearances.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule within a 40–hour work week as the program needs dictate.
  • Willingness to accompany participants to scheduled appointments.
  • Basic computer skills.

Hourly rate depending on experience: $17.77 to $19.44. Projected annual income (40 hours/week): $36,961.60 to $40,435.20.
