Founded in 2005 by trombonist Kevin M. McManus, The Bone Forum is a Pittsburgh-based jazz trombone ensemble composed of five trombones and rhythm section. The group’s repertoire draws extensively from the literature of the big bands and spotlights the music of Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Buddy Rich and Charles Mingus.
