Maybe you're standing over a 20-foot putt on a two-tiered green that Deacon Palmer, Arnold's father, helped design and create. Following your round you walk into clubhouse and dine in the Mixed Grille, the restaurant where Winnie Palmer, Arnie's late wife, personally selected everything from the monogrammed china to the wallpaper. Playing 18 holes at Latrobe Country Club is much more than a game. It's something special that members call the Arnold Palmer Experience. There's nothing else quite like it in the world of golf.

Latrobe Country Club is a private club located 40 miles east of Pittsburgh in the scenic Laurel Highlands. The course layout has 18 holes of mostly bent grass tees, fairways and greens. From the championship tees, the 6,500-yard par 72 has a course rating of 73.3 with a slope of 142. The white tees measure 6,100 yards and have a rating of 71.5 with a slope of 139. The club has a large fleet of E-Z-Go golf carts, cart paths, a practice putting green, driving range and fully stocked pro shop.

The complex also includes professional tennis courts, heated swimming pool and bathhouse, fully-staffed locker rooms and multiple restaurant, dining and entertainment facilities. In addition, the club offers four deluxe guest houses that are available exclusively for the club's guests. The well-appointed accommodations are fairly typical of most small-town country clubs.
