LAUREL NURSERY AND GARDEN CENTER

Laurel Nursery and Garden Center is a retail garden center offering traditional items along with a boutique, gift shop, flag, rugs, windchimes, as well as tropical, houseplants and related supplies. We are a full-line dealer of Yeti, Weber, and Case knives. Our display areas are changed out seasonally with plenty to offer everyone. We have seven production greenhouses where we grow annuals, fall mums, and poinsettias. In addition, there are over

25 acres of nursery fields in production growing trees and shrubs.

Laurel Nursery and Garden Center was established in March of 1974 by John and Joyce Heese. It is currently operated by Ken, Patty, and Jacob Heese (third generation). The business started on 2 acres and now encompasses 18 acres. We have seen many changes over the years and will continue to grow and bring the latest in gardening plants, products, and gifts.

Ken has advised on the Chamber's sporting clays yearly event along with donating to numerous causes. The chamber of commerce offers exposure to the community along with networking benefits. It is extremely helpful to have peers to discuss current small business issues with as well as new contacts.
