Pop-Up Studio – Darnit Pillows

This fun studio experience will combine a few different techniques as you creative a 5×7 pillow with a positive and negative image on either side. You’ll create two colorful images to illustrate ‘good mood/bad mood’ or ‘bad mood/worse mood’ and these images will be iron-transferred to two pieces of fabric which you will then sew to create your darnit pillow. No previous drawing or sewing experience needed to complete this fun pillow. The end result will be a humorous way for you to illustrate your mood to your coworkers, friends or family. Bring some images you want to use or use the ones we provide in the studio. Pop-Up Studios are fun opportunities for adults, ages 18 and above, to get in touch with their inner creativity. Each class explores different techniques and media. No previous art experience is needed. Wine, beer, snacks and materials will be provided.
