Cybercrime and cyberspying cost the US economy $100 billion a year, reports the Center for Strategic and International Studies. Sixty percent of all targeted attacks struck small-and-medium organizations. There was a “34% increase in average financial losses ($2.7M) reported by businesses in 2014 due to security incidents1
According to Symantec2, “Attackers are exploiting vulnerabilities more rapidly than companies can defend against them. In 2014, it took software companies an average of 59 days to create and roll out patches for zero-days— up from only 4 in 2013.”
This workshop will offer a framework for:
- Identifying the assets you need to protect
- Protecting assets to limit the impact of an incident
- Detecting vulnerabilities and risks
- Responding quickly to an incident to keep your business running
