State of the State

The Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its highly anticipated State of the State event, set to take place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Stratigos Banquet Centre beginning at 8:30am. This annual forum provides a vital platform for community members, business leaders, and stakeholders to engage directly with Pennsylvania state legislators on the issues most affecting Westmoreland County and the Commonwealth. Confirmed legislative participants include Senate President Pro Tempore Kim L. Ward, Senator Patrick J. Stefano, Representative Jill N. Cooper, Representative Brian Rasel, and Representative Eric Davanzo. The panel will be moderated by Aaron Riggleman of the PA Chamber, Dan DeBone, President & CEO of the Westmoreland County Chamber of Commerce, and Melissa Wilbur Morgan, PA Assistant State Director. Attendees can expect discussion around critical topics including economic development, workforce challenges, infrastructure, education, and key legislative priorities for the year ahead.
