LATROBE, PA  - The Fountains Group of lndiana, Pennsylvania is excited to announce the opening of its latest luxury personal care facility in Latrobe. Like its other locations in lndiana and DuBois, the Fountains will provide five-star experiences for residents in a resort-like environment. The 15,000 square foot facility is located at 317
Starlight Court off of Arnold Palmer Drive near the Latrobe Airport, and is set to open on April 1.

The facility will provide 24/7 personalized care overseen by a full-time administrator
and nurse. lt will feature made-to-order breakfast, flexible dining options and a busy
activities calendar including massage therapy, exercise classes, relaxation programs,
painting, and live entertainment three times a week. Residents also receive housekeeping
and individual, daily laundry service.

"We're excited to bring our brand of luxury senior care to Westmoreland County,"
says Marcy Colkitt, a lawyer and business owner who is spearheading the development.
Residents can choose from 22 private suites, each with a kitchenette and large private bath
with a barrier-free shower.

The facility will provide an individualized care plan for every resident, including all
medication administration and management, and coordinate resident healthcare including
on-site physical therapy and related services, such as tabs and x-rays. "Arranging for routine
health services to provide on site is more convenient for residents and family members,"
explains Colkitt. Residents are also assessed for any needs they may have for assistance
with activities of daily living, and care is provided for those who need help dressing and
showering.

"The amount of interest in this new facility has been beyond our expectations," Colkitt says. "There is a great need for affordable high-end senior care in the area." There is an on-site gym, beauty salon, sunroom, a large exterior deck, media room and a coffee bar. The rooms come fully furnished, with all linens and 55-inch OLED smart televisions.

Cotkitt has been in the elder care field for over thirty years and was instrumentaI in designing the facility. "Seniors want bright open spaces and a tot of light," she says. "We have a glass sunroom and skylights. Our interior feels like a luxury hotel."

That is just the beginning. ln addition to its personal care unit, The Fountains at Latrobe Luxury Senior Care has already begun building a 22-room memory care unit. "The memory care unit will provide specialized services for seniors with dementia and will, be completed later in 2025," says Colkitt.
