Pack your bags: Chamber announces two international trips — Central Europe in & Costa Rica

[LATROBE, PA] – The Greater Latrobe-Laurel Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce is inviting members, friends, and community travelers to see the world together with two unforgettable international trips on the horizon — and the excitement is already building.

Since launching its international travel program with a trip to Egypt in 2022, the Chamber has continued to prove that exploring the world is better together. Most recently, travelers journeyed through the Galápagos, Ecuador, and Peru in October 2025, building lasting connections along the way. Now, the next adventures are officially open.

• Discover Imperial Cities: Prague, Vienna & Budapest
Nov. 2–12, 2026
From fairytale streets to grand cafés and riverside views, this Central European journey blends history, culture, and unforgettable scenery. Travelers will explore the medieval charm of Prague, enjoy the elegance of Vienna, and cruise along the Danube in Budapest — all while soaking in the magic of cities that feel straight out of a storybook.

Designed for active explorers (activity level 3), this trip is perfect for those ready to lace up their walking shoes and experience Europe up close.

• Discover Tropical Costa Rica
Nov. 8–16, 2027
Looking ahead to sunshine? This vibrant getaway trades winter coats for rainforests, wildlife, and the laid-back spirit of Pura Vida. From towering volcanoes to misty cloud forests, Costa Rica delivers an unforgettable mix of adventure and natural beauty — ideal for travelers who crave experiences as much as relaxation.

This trip is also rated activity level 3 and is a dream escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Both trips are open to anyone, and travelers who book early can save $350 per person.

“Group travel opens doors in a way solo travel simply can’t,” said Briana Tomack, President and CEO of the Chamber. “With careful planning, experienced leadership, and a shared sense of curiosity. Our trips are designed so travelers can focus on the experience, the destination, and the people they share it with. Whether it’s Europe’s historic cities or Costa Rica’s natural beauty, traveling together creates a richer, more meaningful experience — and a lot of fun along the way.”

That sense of confidence and connection resonates with those who continue to travel with the Chamber year after year.

“These trips turn big, bucket-list destinations into experiences that feel accessible and stress-free,” added Marcia Dolan, a frequent participant in the Chamber trips. “As a single professional woman, I feel safe traveling with members of my local community. The Chamber handles all the details that make every trip even better than expected.”

To learn more, the Chamber and their travel partner, Collete, will host a Zoom informational meeting, Discover Imperial Cities, on Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. The meeting will cover trip details, itineraries, and booking information — and is the perfect first step for anyone curious about joining the adventure. Register for the meeting with this link: https://tinyurl.com/ImperialCitiesChamberTrip2026
